Rene Falesco is someone who has jumped onto our radar relatively recently, although he's been in the game for a minute. Originally going by Jordan Blue (his government), the Californian artist has been embarking on this new journey into artistry as Falesco, giving us a brand new project titled Lost in Hollywood.
The album is the first chapter to a foreseeable trilogy of projects by Falesco, he tells. He's been living in the great city of Los Angeles, CA, cooking up this wonderful 7-song collection with a few features. The album dropped today, July 14 at Midnight on Spotify and Apple Music.
The namesake of the album, song "Lost in Hollywood" was the single he debuted prior to the release last night. He sings to finding his way out in California, trying to make peace with where he’s at. The song features a nice guitar riff, soft-spoken lyrics with subdued beats interjecting.
“Normandie Interlude” is probably my favorite song, again with the subtleness of piano and faint drums; a nice song you can ride out on the city at night with someone to.
All in all the whole album is worthy of a listen if you're into smoother, intuitive music, as he collaborates a lot of Pop, Hip-Hop, and R&B fragments. Go grab Lost in Hollywood now!
