After Receiving the Brakence Co-sign, Old Collin is keeping the momentum going with his new single “

After recently gaining support from Brakence, his biggest musical inspiration, Old Collin’s new single “Instigate” has gotten him a bit of a buzz this past month. The 19-year-old from Nashville, Tennessee plans to keep the momentum going in the coming months with the intention to release new music videos, projects, and other visuals.

The buzzing single has received co-signs from music reviewer, Niztopia, along with Brakence, and Kaden., two of his biggest musical inspirations. After graduating high school, Collin moved to Kentucky to attend college, and Instigate was created soon after; “Instigate was written about a friend back home who didn't put in as much effort as I did into remaining friends after I moved”. Lyrics like “ Why don't you put in the effort, to be a good friend to someone else”, help to clearly illustrate Collins' issue at the time.

Since then, Collin explained that this situation has since been resolved and the relationship is back on track. Colin explained that now; “The song feels more like a self-portrait of my past self and the hurdles I felt like I had to jump to change to better myself overall.” While listening to the lyrics of Collin overcoming his hurdles, the vocalist teamed up with producer ‘slicky’, to contribute alluring guitar riffs, drum patterns, and vocal melodies to the astounding single.

After a while, Collin decided to stop attending college and make music his main focus; Collin has now started working an internship at a local studio, to gain some mixing experience and help other artists mix their music. He also explained that the Music Video for Instigate was filmed last week and that he has an upcoming project set to release in August that he’s really excited to share with his audience.
