Born in Miami, 21 year-old Beno is steadily carving out a name for himself as an artist in the music scene while pursuing his studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston. His most recent track, "Overthinking," showcases a relatable story that many of us can relate to: the haunting memory of the one who got away.
The inspiration for "Overthinking" came from a simple but meaningful moment. Beno remembers the day he locked eyes with a girl at a coffee shop and wanted to approach
her, but something held him back. “I was with my drummer, it was around 11 a.m., and I wasn’t feeling it. I hadn’t eaten yet, and I just didn’t feel like talking to anyone,” Beno explains. He immediately regretted not saying anything as the girl walked away, sparking the idea for his song.
Wasting no time, Beno went home and immediately channeled his emotions into music. "We need to write a song about this right now," he told his drummer. In just 30 minutes, the track was complete. The music video, which is now on YouTube, vividly recreates that coffee shop scene, portraying Beno’s internal struggle and his relentless overthinking.
