Xora breaks into 2022 with new single “Often".

This last week, Xora debuted his new single “Often”, his first offering of the new year on all platforms. The song is a charismatic, ‘kickdown the door’ composite, with elating sounds and high energy as Xora does best. Rwanda made & Ontario’s own has continued to create a wave of his likening, amplifying hip-hop and electro-inspired sounds that the likes of artists like $NOT & Cochise have backed.

“Often has to be one of my favorite songs. Once I heard the beat by Bryce, Y2, Josh and Conor; I knew it was a hit and when I was recording, everything felt really natural through the whole process of making that song.” Everyone likes a song that just flows, particularly artists, making the creative process all the easier.

The song opens with a sampled female voice paying homage to beatmaker @bryceunknwn then expands into a thrill of Xora’s proclamations. “I’m finna use my go go gadget, she betta sink like the Titanic” is a personal favorite line as he uses the beat-knocking and arrangement of synths to experiment with his own vocal highs and lows.

Having made music for some time, Xora is just beginning to see the fruits of his labor and rather appreciates all that has gone into it, although the accolades that will come will be graciously accepted. He noted, “The harder you work, the faster you see progress in your art. Always stay true to yourself and don’t forget to enjoy this shit, the process is the best part.” I couldn’t agree more, as I like to say: the journey is the destination. Go stream “Often” early and often now!
